Burn Dennet is a medium sized (5- 20m) river perhaps best known for its sea trout, which are at their peak from June to August.
It also has brown trout and grilse, which are best fished for in June and July as a spate is fining down.
September brings a few larger salmon, up to 15lbs or so. Fly fishing, spinning and worming are the permitted methods. |
