An Clachan Cottages are situated within the grounds of An Creagán Visitor Centre, mid-way between Omagh and Cookstown on the A505. The 8 self -catering cottages reflect the traditional clachan settlements in the Creggan area and combine simple tradition with modern comfort. The cottages have been recently upgraded as well as each cottage having a solar panel and pellet burner stove providing renewable energy. Each cottage is centrally heated and equipped with TV and telephone and a centralised laundry facility is provided on site. An Creagán Visitor Centre offers Interpretative Exhibition, Craft shop, conference facilities, licensed restaurant, coupled with a full programme of cultural events and walking and cycling routes. There are a variety of walks including: Forest/River walk, 5.5 Km, Biodiversity Trail Storybook Trail both 1km in length. 1km trails at An Creagán is suitable for wheelchairs and takes in the Biodiversity Trail and Storybook Trail. The forest/river walk is suitable for prams and buggies. There are 2 mobility scooters available on site. Shop within walking distance.
